Dr. Clifford-Napoleone is Professor of Anthropology and Director of the McClure Archives and University Museum at UCM. Her research interests are in the intersection of popular music, popular culture and sexual subcultures in the United States. Her expertise in museum science is in textiles and textile preventative conservation, museum anthropology and Bedouin material culture. She is a past McNair Scholar, and travels throughout the Midwest advising McNair students on graduate school admissions, financial aid and professionalization. Her current work is focused on the intersection of non-normative sexual identities, sexual behavior and industrial music.
