Animal Identification Certificate

The state of Missouri is home to thousands of species of animals. Gain a greater understanding of the basic functions and biological makeups of species found in our region through the University of Central Missouri’s Animal Identification certificate.

Designed for those who want to work in nature education and outreach, our Animal Identification certificate introduces you to the wildlife that live among us — the amphibians and fish in the Mississippi River, the insects and mammals that inhabit our prairies and forests and the birds that fly in our skies. You’ll gain a strong foundation that will help you inform and educate others about the animals around us.
