  • Undergraduate research: Collaborate with program faculty to gain research skills that are in high demand in today’s data-driven environment. Past Economics majors have helped conduct a number of studies, including the effect no-smoking regulations have on actual rates of smoking, what biological responses can tell us about how people respond to risk in the context of losing or earning money and how to quantify the human quality of grit or stick-to-itiveness.

Past Economics majors have interned with a variety of local and Kansas City businesses as well as with Warrensburg public schools.
