University of Central Missouri provides paid military leave for up to two weeks per calendar year, plus reasonable travel time, for regular employees taking a military leave of absence to attend scheduled drills, training, or active duty service with the U.S. Armed Services.
For military reservist who are called to active duty, the university honors procedures
for return to work as outlined by the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment
Rights Act of 1994 and other federal and state laws. Employees using military leave
will not lose university length of service rights and employment records will reflect
continuous service during the military leave period.
