A UCM Identification Card may be required for admission to or participation in various university programs or to use university facilities and services. Unauthorized use of an ID card is a serious offense which could lead to the termination of the employee involved.
Identification cards are issued to all regular benefit eligible employees, both administrative, service and support, and academic. Non-benefit eligible employees and courtesy appointees will be issued an ID card at the request of the department. ID cards remain valid until employment with UCM ends. At the time of termination, the employee will surrender the card to the Office of Human Resources. Employees who retire from the university and who have 15 years of continuous service may be issued a Retired Staff Identification card.
