Dr. Runyan earned his Ph.D. in Psychology with an Emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2022. Dr. Runyan earned a Masters from UCM back in 2017 and is very excited to be back here teaching and doing research with UCM Psychology students! He typically teaches Cognitive Psychology, Research Methods, Physiological Psychology, and Brain and Behavior. Dr. Runyan studies psychology-related questions using brain imaging and human physiology methods (e.g., EEG, EKG, EDA. and respiration). Dr. Runyan is currently interested in studying implicit bias using different brain imaging and physiology methods in the Neurophysiology of Cognition, Attention, and Learning Lab (NeuroCALL).
