Dr. Mo is a science educator and the coordinator of graduate and undergraduate programs in science education. He received his B.S. and M.S. in physics from Sharif University of Technology and Ph.D. in science education from the University of Iowa. He served public schools for more than a decade as a physics/science teacher. Mo is interested in design-based research studies on student learning and teacher learning, as well as aiming to improve the effectiveness of science instruction. Currently, he pursues this objective by studying the effects of learning science on student everyday life.
