Research Area: Advanced Differential Equations

Paige Crain received her M.S. in Mathematics along with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S.E. in Mathematics Education from the University of Central Missouri. She teaches developmental and general education math courses, which include: Algebra Essentials, College Algebra, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Applied Calculus, and Dual Credit courses. During the summer, she also teaches courses for UCM’s Central Summer Academy to help prepare incoming freshmen for a successful first fall semester and placement into their credit math classes. She is an ACUE (Association of College and University Educators) certified instructor. 

In addition to teaching, her other interests include mentoring new graduate assistants and contributing to the ongoing refinement of developmental and general education math courses in order to improve students' placement in math courses and increase their success rates in these courses.
