Not only do we offer an ABET-accredited Computer Science bachelor’s degree option, we are the first and only department to offer an ABET-accredited undergraduate Software Engineering program in Missouri and the first to offer an ABET-accredited Cybersecurity program — we know what it means to stand out from the crowd and be well regarded.

In combination with our accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), this designation means that you will leave UCM with a degree that is respected across the country for meeting the high standards set by the nation’s top computing and accreditation organizations.

Our Software Engineering program offers a balanced combination of computer science and engineering topics to help you develop into a versatile software engineer who can build, test, maintain and improve complex software systems. A growing number of endowed scholarships are awarded each year to the Department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity majors and minors. The application deadline is usually March 1 of each year. Apply online at .
