Research Areas: Wireless Communications, Networking and Computer Security

Dr. Yue received his BS and MS from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1996 and 1999, respectively. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati in 2004. Dr. Yue joined the Department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity as an assistant professor in 2004 and was promoted to full professor in 2014. He was a visiting assistant professor with the Department of Computer Science at the Winston Salem State University between 2003 and 2004. Dr. Yue is the recipient of the Faculty Achievement Award at the College of Health, Science and Technology at UCM in 2007 and 2009, respectively.

Dr. Yue's research interests include wireless communications, networking and computer security; and he published many peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings on these areas. He also obtained more than half million funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Google.

Dr. Yue is a senior member of IEEE, a commissioner for the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, a GIAC certified Penetration Tester (GPEN) and a certified Web Applications Penetration Tester (GWAPT).
