Dr. Luo joined the University of Central Missouri as an Assistant Professor in Fall
2024. Prior to this, he earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of
Missouri - Kansas City in 2024 and his M.S. in Computer Science from Gannon University
in 2015. He also holds a B.E. degree from China Youth University of Political Studies,
earned in 2012.
Dr. Luo's research interests span Software Security, Graph Learning, Large Language
Models, and Artificial Intelligence. He has published and presented his research work
in top-tier conferences such as ACSAC, ESORICS, and ICBC.
Dr. Luo has three years of industry experience as a data analyst in China from 2016
to 2019. He has also served as a graduate instructor at UMKC for two years, teaching
data science-related courses to graduate students with a strong educational track
record.
