Dr. Kar received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University in 2017, where his research focused on mobile computing, location privacy, and connected vehicles. His research interests include vehicular networks, image processing, deep learning, object detection and classification, machine learning, and blockchain. Dr. Kar has published several papers in top academic conferences and journals, including Applied Soft Computing, MobiCom, MobiSys, and CCS. He is also a member of IEEE and ACM.
