Spencer Musser (he/him) is a visual artist and designer working in theatre. He received his BFA in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in Theatre Design Technology/Scenic Design.

Before beginning at the University of Central Missouri, Spencer Musser worked and taught at UMKC, KCAI, Rockhurst University, Western Illinois University, Russell Sage College and Western Colorado University.

In addition to theatre work in higher education, Spencer Musser continues to work and exhibit as a visual artist and professional theatre designer. Some of Spencer’s designs include The Rocky Horror Show, The Book of Everything, Antigone, Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, I Never Saw Another Butterfly, Radiance, Suor Angelica, Gianni Schicchi, Madama Butterfly, La Boheme, A Christmas Carol, Cabaret, The Cripple of Inishmaan, Absurd Person Singular, and Le Cid.
