The University of Central Missouri CompTIA Security+ SYO-501 certificate program is known globally as the certification trusted to validate foundational, IT security knowledge and skills. This face-to-face, instructor-led class covers the essential principles for network security and risk management and is also approved by the U.S. Department of Defense. This course is designed for students wishing to prepare for the CompTIA Security+ Certification Exam. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.
