Student Organizations

SOLIS

The Student Organization of Library and Information Services (SOLIS) is the ALA Student Chapter at UCM. SOLIS is free for current students and offers several events throughout the year. SOLIS is accessible on several online platforms:

Beta Beta Pi

Beta Beta Pi is a chapter of the Beta Phi Mu (the international honor society for the LIS professions) at the University of Central Missouri. Members of Beta Beta Pi are invited in their last semester of their degree program by faculty based on academic achievement, service to the program, and service to the profession. The Beta Beta Pi Chapter is available on Facebook. For questions about Beta Beta Pi, please contact the faculty advisor, Dr. Amanda Harrison, aeharrison@ucmo.edu.
